Overview
Turns your physical space into a living, connected environment. Lights, sound, projections, sensors, and AI agents orchestrated through a spatial computing layer. Rooms become interfaces, walls become displays.
Architecture
Python-based orchestrator that binds IoT devices (Philips Hue, smart plugs, sensors) with computer vision (OpenCV, MediaPipe) and spatial audio (Soundscape). AI agents process sensor data and make ambient decisions — adjusting lighting based on time of day, projecting information on walls based on presence, playing contextual audio.
The Story
The question was: what if a room could respond to you like another person? Started with a single Hue bulb and a webcam. The bulb changed color based on mood detected from facial expressions. It was trivial and absurdly compelling. Aether is the vision of scaling that to an entire room — lights, sound, projection, all orchestrated by AI that understands space and presence.
